The Unauthorized Hallmark(ish) Parody Musical Lexington Theatre reviews
Horrible venue
The concert was great but the venue was horrible. Traffic was a nightmare, with a three-hour wait. Parking required payment but no one checked tickets. The parking area was in a pasture with very uneven footing and lots of dust. Lack of garbage cans was a problem. Waiting in line for an hour to take the shuttle to the venue was frustrating. Missing the air show before the concert was disappointing. The shuttle arrival meant a long walk to reach the venue. The pathway had mulch footing, adding to the dust bowl experience. Finally getting into the venue, there was a hit-or-miss situation with purchasing merchandise or overpriced food/drinks due to the internet being hit or miss. Tickets were for seating in the field with nowhere to sit and no one checking wristbands. People sat on the hillside in the field area while others stood off to the side in the pathway to watch the concert. Leaving after the last song was necessary due to the chaos of exiting the venue, missing The Unauthorized Hallmark(ish) Parody Musical returning to the stage and the fireworks. Another wait was needed to board the shuttle back to the parking area. The reviewer expressed never wanting to return to this venue after such a horrible experience. Despite wanting to see the artist for 30 years, they were left disappointed. The concert was good, from what could be seen, but the aftermath led to tears.
